The Joel Birr Memorial Foundation was set up for yearly scholarships for our local school.  With support from the community, the scholarship fundraiser suddenly turned into a foundation.  It says a lot about what kind of person Joel was.  Joel had a heart for everyone.  Everyone in his eyes was a good person and considered a friend.  Our goal is to give back to the community and offer a hand or a prayer for those who are in need.  Joel would have done the same and it goes to show, this foundation wouldn’t be what it is today if Joel hadn't touched people's hearts the way he did.  Our goal is to keep touching hearts in our community and to bring love, relief, or a smile to those in need.
